From October 16-18, Clearco attended Shoptalk Fall 2024 at McCormick Place in Chicago, engaging with ecommerce founders and industry leaders to discuss scaling strategies and capital solutions. Between sessions and networking events, we explored key funding needs for brands looking to drive growth and maintain ownership. One highlight was the Chew on This x Kizik Founders Dinner at Roots Pizza, where we connected with founders in a collaborative environment, sharing insights on how non-dilutive funding options like Clearco’s can help brands succeed without giving up equity.

ShopTalk Fall: Making Ecommerce Growth “Mission Possible”

The Clearco Team connected with a range of ecommerce founders, retailers, and industry experts in a setting inspired by a “Mission Impossible” theme. From the decor to the laser tag, every detail made for an engaging, action-packed experience. The event featured specialized rooms, each dedicated to unique aspects of ecommerce. In The Intelligence Room, data-driven growth strategies took center stage, while The Lab focused on new technologies and their applications in retail. 

We also attended sessions in The Decryption Room, which tackled complex market trends and industry challenges, and The Radar Room, where emerging trends and future forecasts were discussed. These sessions provided a comprehensive view of where ecommerce is heading, covering everything from AI and automation to customer engagement and retention strategies. 

Between sessions, we enjoyed meaningful conversations with founders about the current needs and challenges of growing a business in today’s market. Networking Highlights at the Chew on This x Kizik Founders Dinner

At the Chew on This x Kizik Founders Dinner, held at Roots Pizza, Clearco joined a select group of brand leaders and founders to discuss the evolving challenges in ecommerce, from inventory management to cash flow and growth strategy. Aidan Bain, Clearco’s Mid-Market Account Executive, represented Clearco at the dinner and delivered a speech on the importance of non-dilutive capital. Aidan emphasized how Clearco’s flexible funding solutions empower brands to grow without giving up equity, aligning financing with the specific needs of ecommerce founders.
