Herb'n Eden stands out with handcrafted skincare that's pure, natural, and free from harmful chemicals. Their products contain no parabens or artificial fragrances, only real ingredients that genuinely care for your skin.

The Story Behind Herb N’ Eden

Herb N' Eden began in 2015 when Terran Lewis picked up soap-making as a new hobby after discovering a craft book at Barnes & Noble. She quickly fell in love with using herbs and essential oils, creating her first lavender soap right in her apartment. Terran's husband, Quinton, encouraged her to transform this hobby into a business, and together they've grown Herb N' Eden from a small home project to their own store and warehouse in Douglasville, GA.

Herb N' Eden makes everything themselves, right in their own facility. They craft their soaps using equipment they own, like soap-making tanks and mixers. Customer favorites, like their turmeric and charcoal soaps, come from careful research into ingredients that truly benefit your skin. Everything is locally made, in small batches, with simple and plant-based ingredients you can trust.

How Herb N’ Eden Scaled from Farmers’ Markets to a Thriving Online Brand

Terran and Quinton started by selling soaps at local farmers' markets, where they built a loyal customer base who loved their natural products. As they moved their business online, they faced challenges getting the capital they needed.

When Herb N’ Eden saw a huge surge in orders during the pandemic, Clearco and other capital providers helped them scale. With Clearco's support they were able to stock up on materials. They also invested in new equipment and hiring more team members to keep up. Even as supply chain delays slowed down fulfillment, customers stayed patient, giving Terran and Quinton the time they needed to expand and keep making blends everyone loves.

How Herb N’ Eden Grew to $2.6M and Expanded Their Skincare Business

When Quinton started handling marketing in 2020, he used Facebook ads to share their story in an authentic way. Customers appreciated following along, helping Herb N' Eden jump from $260K to $2.6M in revenue within just one year. Through a business program, they connected with experienced founders who guided them in ecommerce, Google Ads, and SEO. With funding from Clearco, Shopify Capital, and PayPal, they grew their brand without relying on traditional loans.

Herb N' Eden loves selling directly to customers and they're also optimistic about the possibility of expanding into retail. As they grow, Terran and Quinton are determined to keep their products high-quality, handcrafted, and true to their roots.

Celebrating Herb'n Eden: Clearco’s 2025 Black History Month Award Winner

Congratulations again to Herb’n Eden for winning Clearco’s 2025 Black History Month Award! We're inspired by Terran and Quinton's incredible journey, from making soaps in their home to building a brand trusted and loved by thousands. Clearco is excited to support Herb N’ Eden’s vision.
